Thambi Ramaiah Early Life
On February 27, 1956, Thambi Ramaiah was born in the city of Pudukkottai in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Ramaiah, the eldest in his family, completed his high school education in Tamil Nadu. Under the pen name Jagannathapillai, his father has published several books. Pappammal, his mother, died suddenly at the age of 74. Her funeral was held in his hometown of Rarapurami.
Ramaiah is her husband. Their two children are called Viveka Ramaiah and Umapathy Ramaiah. Umapathy hopes to become a performer like his famous father. On the other hand, Rahulji is Viveka’s intelligent and caring husband. Viveka excels in her studies.
Thambi Ramaiah Career
When Ramaiah was 20 years old, he decided to try his luck in the film industry there in Chennai. He lacked the necessary connections to even try. He opted to work for a private company instead, where he remained for the following nine years.
Ramaiah is a music enthusiast who has penned the lyrics to several songs. In addition to the guitar, he also picked up the harmonium. In 1994, Ramaiah got his start in the television industry by writing dialogue for a Sun TV show.
After that he was given numerous opportunities to work in the film industry in various capacities, including as an assistant director, writer, and songwriter. However, he first appeared on screen in Malabar Police (1999). It was the year 2000’s Manu Needhi that marked a turning point in his career as a director. Success at the box office is nothing new for the actors of “Manu Needhi,” “Kathi Thiraikathai Vasanam Lyakkam,” and “Thani Oruvan” (2015).
Ramaiah is well-known as a result of his cameo appearances in several blockbuster films.
